What is the difference between a hot press and a cold press?

Which press is suitable for applying veneer or laminate to MDF and chipboard?

What is a through-feed hot press?

A through-feed press moves the prepared panel from an infeed table into the pressing area and then onto an unloading table. The PLA model uses a synchronised loading table and press conveyor, allowing the operator to begin preparing the next workpiece while the current panel completes its pressing cycle.

What is a membrane press used for?

A membrane press is used to apply veneer, PVC or other thermoplastic surface materials to shaped or profiled workpieces. Vacuum membrane configurations can also be used for producing curved plywood components.

Can one press perform hot, cold and membrane pressing?
