Unlike traditional edgebanders with glue pots, the HIT-M portable edgebander (or hand held edgebander) features an advanced hot air unit that heats up to over 400°C in just 30 seconds. Special nozzles evenly distribute highly heated compressed air over the functional layer of the edge material, activating it for a flawless bond. The pressure roller then ensures the edge adheres perfectly to the workpiece, creating a seamless zero joint.
