The Masterwood Nesting KS is a modular CNC nesting range designed to combine efficient panel machining with flexible loading, unloading and production-line integration.
Available in two current configurations, the Nesting 2131 KS and Nesting 2242 KS, the range combines a high-efficiency matrix working table, 13.2 kW HSK F63 electrospindle, integrated drilling, a 12-position tool magazine and six vacuum areas.
Masterwood designed the Nesting KS for both stand-alone production and integration into more automated manufacturing lines, giving cabinetmakers and panel processors room to increase automation as production requirements grow.
Masterwood describes the Nesting KS as a new-generation nesting range combining wide modularity with competitive investment cost. Automatic loading and unloading systems, end-of-line labelling options and flexible machine configuration allow it to be used in different levels of production automation.
For cabinetmaking and furniture production, nesting can combine routing, drilling and panel cutting operations on one CNC platform while making efficient use of full sheets.
The two current Nesting KS models provide different working envelopes while sharing the same published spindle power, axis speeds, drilling arrangement, vacuum zoning and tool magazine capacity.

The Nesting KS is particularly relevant to manufacturers processing sheet materials and cabinet components where panel optimisation, routing, drilling and automated material handling can improve production flow.
Both current Nesting KS models are specified with a 13.2 kW HSK F63 electrospindle, providing a robust machining package for professional panel processing.
The published axis speeds are 40 m/min in X, 40 m/min in Y and 20 m/min in Z, with a maximum tool diameter of 80 mm.
Masterwood lists a 120 mm blade for cutting in the X axis, adding another machining function within the Nesting KS platform.
The current Nesting KS specification includes 6 vertical spindles in X and 4 vertical spindles in Y, allowing drilling operations to be completed within the CNC nesting process.
