Series Production
Two saw heads support accurate cutting of both ends of aluminium profiles for repeat production where consistent finished lengths and angles are required.
A universal double mitre saw for aluminium profile cutting, series production and specialist applications. The Elumatec DG104 combines two pivoting and tilting saw units with accurate external-dimension cutting for high, wide and compound mitre work.
The Elumatec DG104 double mitre saw is designed for aluminium fabricators that need accurate, repeatable cutting across both standard production work and more specialised profiles. Both saw units pivot and tilt inwards, allowing the DG104 to process high and wide aluminium profiles as well as a wide range of compound mitres.
Unlike a basic double-head saw that is primarily used for straight and standard mitre work, the DG104 is built around greater angular flexibility. External-dimension cutting is possible across the cutting variants, reducing the need for complicated length calculations when producing special angles and compound cuts.
The DG104 is Elumatec's universal double mitre saw for production environments that need more than standard two-head cutting. Its pivoting and tilting heads make it particularly useful where profile size, compound angles or special cutting requirements vary from job to job.
Two saw heads support accurate cutting of both ends of aluminium profiles for repeat production where consistent finished lengths and angles are required.
Pivoting and tilting of both saw units allows the DG104 to produce compound mitres and special angles that require more than a standard mitre adjustment.
The universal head movement allows many high and wide profiles to be processed without the support blocks that may otherwise be required.
External-dimension cutting and flexible head positioning make the DG104 well suited to bespoke fabrication and special-angle production work.
One of the DG104's defining features is the universal movement of both saw units. Each head can pivot inwards from 90° to 45°, with manual adjustment available down to 22.5° and digital angle feedback across the pivoting range.
The saw units also tilt inwards pneumatically from 90° to 45°. Combining pivot and tilt movement allows the machine to produce compound mitres and process profiles that would be difficult to handle on a more basic double mitre saw.
The DG104 combines flexible head movement, external-dimension cutting and production controls to handle both everyday profile cutting and more complex aluminium fabrication requirements.
External-dimension cuts can be used across the cutting variants, which is particularly useful when producing special angles.
Both saw units pivot and tilt, giving the DG104 greater flexibility for profile geometry and cutting angle.
The DG104 is available with either positioning or PC-based control depending on the required production workflow.
The DG104 is intended to bridge the gap between repeat production and more specialised fabrication. Two 420 mm saw blades, 4 kW motors and a choice of 3,000 mm, 4,500 mm or 6,000 mm cutting-length variants allow the machine to be configured around different workshop requirements.
Safety hoods and saw blades are supplied as standard, while the pulsed coolant system supports cleaner aluminium cutting and helps manage blade performance during regular production.
The control system can be selected around the level of automation, job handling and production flexibility required in your workshop.
The E390 provides positioning control for workshops that want a straightforward production setup without moving to a full PC-based control platform.
The E590 provides PC-based machine control and can be expanded with software for chop cuts and oversize length cuts where greater production flexibility is needed.

Answers to common questions about the DG104, double mitre saw operation, compound cutting and choosing between the Elumatec DG models.
The DG104 is designed for series production and specialist aluminium cutting applications. Both saw heads pivot and tilt, allowing it to process high and wide profiles as well as compound mitres and special angles.
A double mitre saw uses two saw heads to cut both ends of a profile. In aluminium production this can improve repeatability and efficiency because the finished length and end angles can be produced within one machine setup.
Yes. Both DG104 saw units pivot and tilt inwards. This allows the machine to produce compound mitres and special-angle cuts across suitable aluminium profiles.
The DG104 is available in 3,000 mm, 4,500 mm and 6,000 mm cutting-length variants. The listed minimum cutting length is 350 mm at 90° and 350 mm when tilted at 45°.
The E390 is a positioning control, while the E590 is a PC-based control. An optional E590 software module is available for chop cuts and oversize length cuts where additional production flexibility is required.
The DG79 is a production-focused double mitre saw using 380 mm blades, while the DG104 uses 420 mm blades and adds universal pivoting and tilting for compound and specialist cutting. The DG244 is the large-format option with 550 mm blades for substantially larger structural aluminium profiles.
