Elumatec DG244 Double Mitre Saw

The Elumatec DG244 is built for demanding aluminium profile cutting where large cutting capacity, compound angles and flexible saw-head positioning are required. Its 550 mm saw blades, cutting-from-below design and universal pivoting and tilting saw units make it a highly capable machine for large, high and wide profiles.

DG244 Built for Large & Complex Aluminium Profiles

The Elumatec DG244 is designed for aluminium fabrication applications that demand greater cutting capacity and angular flexibility. Both saw units can pivot and tilt, allowing the machine to process high and wide profiles as well as compound mitre cuts that may otherwise require additional support blocks or more complex setup.

Elumatec's cutting-from-below principle leaves the support table freely accessible, while external-dimension cutting at different angle positions reduces the need for manual length calculations when profile heights change. For workshops processing substantial aluminium sections or specialist profiles, these features make the DG244 a highly versatile production machine.

What Is the Elumatec DG244 Designed For?

The DG244 is suited to fabrication environments where profile size, cutting angle and finished dimensions can vary considerably. Its large blade diameter and universal head movement give the machine the flexibility required for both repeat production and specialist aluminium cutting.

Large Aluminium Profiles

The 550 mm saw blades provide substantial cutting capacity for aluminium profiles that exceed the working range of smaller saw models.

High & Wide Profiles

Universal pivoting and tilting of both saw units allows many high and wide profiles to be processed without additional support blocks.

Compound Mitre Cuts

The saw heads can be positioned for compound cutting where both horizontal and vertical angle adjustment are required.

Special-Angle Work

External-dimension cutting helps simplify production when cutting special angles or profiles with different heights.

DG244 Cutting from Below

The DG244 uses Elumatec's established cutting-from-below principle. The saw blades rise into the profile from beneath the support table, helping keep the work area accessible for profile positioning and handling.

Combining this layout with the large 550 mm saw blade diameter provides the DG244 with significant cutting capacity across a broad range of profile shapes and cutting angles.

  • Pneumatic inward pivoting
  • Manual extended pivot range
  • Pneumatic inward tilting
  • Digital angle read-out

External-Dimension Cutting

The DG244 cuts to external dimensions at different angle positions, simplifying work where profile heights change between cuts.

DG244 Pivoting & Tilting Saw Units

The DG244 saw units pivot inwards pneumatically from 90° to 45°. For specialist cutting, the heads can also be adjusted manually to 22.5° inwards and up to 140° outwards, with digital angle feedback to assist setup.

The saw units tilt inwards pneumatically from 90° to 45°. Intermediate tilt angles can be set manually using the digital read-out and turret stop, giving the operator greater control when producing compound cuts.

  • 90° to 45° pneumatic inward pivoting
  • Manual pivoting to 22.5° inwards
  • Manual pivoting up to 140° outwards
  • 90° to 45° pneumatic inward tilting
