Tuckwell Machinery supplies and supports a professional range of
circular saw blade sharpening machines designed for saw doctors,
timber processors, cabinet shops and industrial sharpening rooms.
These UTMA automatic grinders deliver consistent accuracy, fast cycle
times and reliable performance for maintaining
panel saw blades, beam saw blades, rip saw blades, crosscut blades, trim blades
and other carbide-tipped circular blades used across Australian workshops.
Explore our UTMA line-up below — from the compact AL805 through to
the heavy-duty AL1200 — with precision CNC control, automatic face-and-top grinding,
and flexible programming suited to modern sawmill and sharpening operations.
“If you need reliable, workshop-ready results every day, a UTMA circular saw blade sharpening machine is built for the job.”
The UTMA AL1200 is a heavy-duty automatic carbide circular saw blade sharpener designed for
HM-tipped blades up to 1200 mm. Its reinforced chassis, fully enclosed cabin and
5-axis CNC control deliver consistent, repeatable sharpening across
panel saw blades, beam saw blades, main rip blades, crosscut blades and trim saw blades.
The AL1200 performs face and top grinding in a single automatic cycle, reducing blade handling
and minimising setup time. A large front opening allows easy loading of wide-diameter saws, while the
10” touchscreen simplifies programming of tooth geometry, angles and sequences.
Blade capacity: Ø100 – 1200 mm | Max plate thickness: 10 mm
Tooth pitch: 6 – 130 mm
Grinding angles: Hook angle –15° to +40° | Top bevel 0–45° | Face bevel 0–10°
Grinding motor: 1 HP direct drive (variable RPM)
Control: 5-axis CNC system with large program memory
One-setup sharpening: Premounted face & top grinding wheels
Optional systems: Filtration, extraction, electrostatic filtering, fire-suppression
